  • Planner for a residential infill development in the Town of Cobourg
  • Prepared Concept Plan layout options for the highest and best use of the site, ensuring compatibility with surround uses and densities
  • Co-ordinated work of consultant team through the planning approvals process – the project required Rezoning, Consent and Site Plan approvals
  • The existing multi-unit commercial plaza and single-detached heritage dwelling proved to be design constraints for the project as well as an abutting rail spur line, which were successfully resolved permitting the approvals to be completed
  • The medium-density residential parcel changed ownership in 2015 to Crystal Gardens Developments Inc. where the new owner continued with RFA as the project planner. The new owner wished to develop the property with a different built form than previous approved which required a rezoning and also site plan approvals.
  • Through the Site Plan application process RFA prepared a Landscape Plan incorporating the use of innovative low-impact drainage features such as infiltration galleries with the support of the project engineer.
