- Planner for a rezoning to permit a cannabis production facility within a portion of the former Sears warehouse in the City of Belleville. Operator is a national company, HEXO Corp.
- Prepared Existing Conditions plan and Planning Rationale in support of the rezoning submission.
- RFA worked closely with HEXO Corp in preparing the rezoning application and presentation to the Planning Advisory Committee.
- The former Sears Warehouse is located in a designated employment/industrial area in Belleville (North-East Industrial Park), providing an ideal location along with suitable infrastructure for a cannabis production facility, which are generally locating with large vacant industrial buildings.
- RFA is responsible for the successful completion of all four rezonings within the City of Belleville to permit cannabis production facilities.
