Fronterra Farm Brewery

Planner for an innovative tourist development in the County of Prince Edward. The development features a hybrid farm, brewery and luxury camping establishment. While Prince Edward County is a known winery region with planning policies in place to guide such development, no such policies existed at the time for brewery establishments. RFA worked closely with County planning staff to prepare policies specific to breweries to guide future development projects.
RFA worked to ensure a phased approval approach so that the first development phase for ten (10) camping sites could move forward. The ultimate development plan for the Fronterra establishment includes additional accommodations that will require further planning approvals.
