MTO/WSP – Highway 401/Norris Whitney Bridge Expansion

Collaborative project with WSP/MTO to assist with a preliminary design for the future widening of Highway 401, between Wallbridge-Loyalist and Highway 37 (approximately 5km). In addition to the Highway 401 widening, a separate EA study to assess rehabilitation and replacement opportunities for the Norris Whitney Bridge on Highway 62, which connects City of Belleville and Prince Edward County was examined.
RFA was responsible for retrieving data from municipal sources for analysis; consulting with relevant agencies and emergency services for feedback on various options of widening of Highway 401 and rehabilitation of the bridge; attending Municipal Advisory Committee meetings; and participating in the Public Information Meetings.
